Tomorrow? Monday? Next month? Next year?

Will you have everything ‘sorted’ by your next birthday?

  • Will you tackle everything when you aren’t tired, busy or stressed?

  • Will it all feel better when you change your job or home?

  • Will it be easier when the kids are older?

Don’t postpone happiness.

Drag your brain back from the horizon.

Make things better today.

Does this sound familiar?

You sit scrolling on your phone or watching mindless TV, sucked into the screen, feeling dissatisfied with your evening and life in general – but without any energy or motivation to do anything different.

Before you know it, you're late for bed again, even though you've been yawning since 9pm... and you're not looking forward to tomorrow.
You feel like you are on a conveyor belt.
Get up, shove some clothes on, ask your kids to put their shoes on fourteen times, get your head into work, get your head out of work and into parent mode, find something for dinner, put a wash on, clean up the kitchen, frantically cobble together a last-minute school project, diffuse teeth-brushing protest no. 367, and get small people to bed so you can have some headspace... and flop onto the sofa with a torso-sized bar of chocolate.

And here you are again. Feeling like there should be more.
More satisfaction, more joy, more energy, more pride in who you are and what you do, more hope for the future.

But you've set goals and tried to make changes before, and nothing stuck.

'Is this it?' you wonder.

Well, I'm here to say absolutely not.

You're not on your own. And you're not the only person to feel this way. You also don't have to tackle what's bothering you alone.
We can work through things, step by step, and make life feel good again.
YOU can feel good again. In fact YOU can feel brilliant

I'm here to help.

Who am I?

I’m Jen. A lifecoach, communications consultant, mum, wife, sister, daughter and friend.

Naturally fascinated by people and what makes them tick, I’ve spent most of my life with my nose in a self-help book, searching for the answer to happiness.

I've also spent many years feeling that I'm not using my potential or that there's just something missing.

I made several attempts in my 20s and 30s to make grand sweeping changes and work it all out. Spending thousands of pounds on therapy (all very necessary and useful mind you) and signing up to a variety of personal development courses, eating plans and exercise programmes.

I qualified and started practicing as a lifecoach in 2012 and study counselling and psychotherapy.

All in the pursuit of sorting myself out and helping others do the same.

And then, after a particularly difficult patch in my mid-forties, it slowly dawned on me.

I spotted the thread running through my coaching sessions and my daily life.

What made the biggest impact on me and my clients wasn’t an ambitious goal or timescale.

It wasn’t a six-month plan.

It was a focus on each day. One at a time. 24 hours where you got to choose.

What you do, how you react to things and how you can reset.

Clear intentions, structure, habits and thought patterns that knit your day together – and make you feel clearer, more positive and like you are making real progress.

I stopped trying to battle on alone, practised what I preached and hired a fabulous coach, who supported and challenged me as we made a massive difference to my quality of life. And that's exactly what I aim to do for the women who trust in me.

I care deeply about my clients. I'm down-to-earth, warm and direct. I make coaching fun while making space for feelings. I'll never use coaching jargon or psychobabble, but I will conjure up daft analogies that mean something to you.

There's nothing better than helping people discover how brilliant they really are.

Can I help you?

My coaching superpower: mixing hope with grit

Because we all need hope. We need to believe that things can get better.

And then, to turn hope into action, we need grit to tackle everything that’s in our way.

You’ve tried so hard to do it on your own, but you’re going round in circles.

It’s time to get some support – to get you moving forwards again.

I will listen and understand what’s important for you.

I will help you get it all out of your head and into a plan that works for you.

I will boost you so you can see possibilities instead of obstacles.

I will help you find the courage to do things differently.

I will challenge you to see things through.

The result? More satisfying days that build and build into you feeling brilliant

I was lost. I had lost my identity, my purpose, my sense of self.

Jen helped me find a way of seeing myself (and ways of being and doing) that reflected my most vibrant and confident self.

Without a doubt she changed my life!

Claudia

Perhaps we all know deep down what we need to do to change, but life can get in the way of us seeing clear answers. Jen can help you do this.

She – in her nurturing and lively way – helped ME find the answers. And I use what I have learnt from our sessions every day.

Nicki

Her approach is brilliant, clever, creative - just ace. She somehow (I think it might be magic) creates an atmosphere that puts you at ease and gets your mind working.

On top of all of this - she is blummin' lovely. Natural, genuine, fabulous. Everyone needs a Jen in their lives.

Well... I’m here to tell you there is

Do you feel like there could be so much more to life?

The great news is that you can feel so much better each day. You don’t have to wait or clear the decks and completely rewrite your life.

I help women feel brilliant, both about their lives and themselves, by making daily tweaks to the way they think and do things.

It’s so easy to mentally live for tomorrow – thinking and hoping things will be better when x, y and z happen.

It’s also easy to get bogged down in looking at every part of our lives and feeling that unless we change everything at once and get it all right we are not going to succeed or feel any better.

If you’re feeling under pressure to ‘sort yourself out’ and you’re frustrated that you haven’t done this already – please give yourself a break. It’s hard to do it on your own.

Talk to me, and let’s sort everything out together.
